Changing Woman Initiative is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to renew cultural birth knowledge to empower and reclaim indigenous sovereignty of women's medicine and life way teachings to promote reproductive wellness, healing through holistic approaches and to strengthen women's bonds to family and community.
As a growing organization, we are seeking an additional board of directors member and two new hires to work with the Board of Directors and the Clinic. Board of Directors Position:Director of Native American Health Policy
The Director of Native American Health Policy will join the current Board of Directors. We are looking for somone who is motivated to help us create maternal and women's health policy on behalf of CWI. The position is geared for someone who is interested in Public Health, Political Science, Data and Research, or local state and tribal government issues. Board Staff Positions:Board Administrator Board Coordinator supervises and administers activities related to the Board of Directors and related committees of Changing Woman Initiative. The Board Coordinator is responsible for planning meetings, generating reports, archiving and preparing materials, conducting research, and practicing communication with board members regarding related activities. The Board Coordinator will work closely with board members, staff, volunteers and committees to meet organizational goals. Social Media Strategist Changing Woman Initiative's (CWI) Social Media and Communications Specialist will be a key member in the communication of the clinic and Board of Directors actions/views to the public. CWI’s rapid growth has prompted us to commit to making social media and web communications a cornerstone of our growth plan. |
